2.5blokki home individual

This individual project was created at the request of a client who wanted to combine a functional parking space for a cherished family classic car with the comfort of tiny living. And because this is a truly exceptional vehicle, it would be a shame to just lock it away in a garage.

The result is a modular structure built from 2.5 shipping container modules, based on the 2.5blokki home concept – but with a fully custom, non-standard layout tailored to the client’s vision.

Layout of the building:

• Garage with an area of 40,5 m² with oversized window connecting visually to the living space
  •    Studio apartment with an area of 26,8 m² – with living area, kitchenette, and separate bathroom
• Entrance to the garage via electrically operated sectional doors

Technology:

• Electric underfloor heating using carbon foil
• Water heating with an electric boiler

Construction time: 3 months

 The project shows that modular architecture can speak to emotions – whether it's a connection to an old car or the need for smart and stylish living.
