This project aimed to create a comfortable and stylish space for visitors, which will later be converted into a full living area for the owners' mother — an exchange.

The clients chose our 1blokki home A model, which fits well as a small, functional, and attractive solution. The result is a charming little house with a unique atmosphere. The owner has a good eye for detail, which is seen in the carefully finished interior. It feels cozy, well-planned, and airy all at once.

The house is built on a structure made from a single shipping container and includes:

a living room with a kitchenette
a bedroom
a spacious bathroom
an open sleeping loft with a view of the living area
The interior walls are lined with spruce wood boards, giving the space a warm and natural look. Electric heating foil and a wood-burning stove ensure thermal comfort. The bathroom has an extra window to bring in more daylight.

This project shows that even a small house can feel warm and welcoming.
